A Chris Cornell acoustic tour will take place this April and early May.

The Chris Cornell acoustic tour, announced today, begins April 1 in Austin, Texas and ends May 6 in San Diego. After the Austin date, the Chris Cornell acoustic tour will travel through the Southeast, then up and down the East Coast. The tour will feature songs from Cornell's entire career -- including Soundgarden, Audioslave and his solo albums -- as well as "a few surprise covers," the tour announcement said. But the Chris Cornell acoustic tour is not good news for fans who were hoping for a full Soundgarden tour anytime soon. Soundgarden reunited last year but has only played a handful of shows since then.
