New Foo Fighters song Rope debuts

A new Foo Fighters song, "Rope," has hit the airwaves.

"Rope" is the first single off the new Foo Fighters album, Wasting Light, which is due out April 12. The verses of the new Foo Fighters song have a slightly darker sound than the band's previous work and bear the influence of Grohl's work with Them Crooked Vultures and Queens of the Stone Age. But the choruses of "Rope" return to the band's traditional sound.

Other songs on the new Foo Fighters album include "Dear Rosemary," "White Limo," "Arlandria," "These Days," "Back and Forth," "A Matter of Time," "Miss the Misery," "I Should Have Known," "Walk" and "Verdict."
